I’m Coach Akeem Scott, and with God’s guidance and your support, I will be the next Montgomery County Judge/Executive.
I was born and raised in Montgomery County. My mother, Linda Puckett- Scott, worked in our local factory and Farm, and my father, Coach James Scott, served our community as an educator and basketball coach. I’m a proud graduate of Montgomery County High School and Kentucky Christian University.
When I returned, I wanted to build my life here. I married my wife, Jennifer, and raised our family. This is where our roots are planted—and where our future belongs.
I believe God calls us to be good stewards of our land, our people, and our resources. That means protecting our community, planning wisely, and putting families first.
As Judge/Executive, my focus will be clear:

I will be an independent, honest, and transparent voice for every resident—from Mt. Sterling to Camargo to Jeffersonville.
With faith, unity, and hard work, we can build a stronger Montgomery County together.
